We may use the Oaky services to communicate with you and to offer you specific services and upgrades related to your stay with us. Oaky acts as a data processor of your personal data on our behalf, for the purpose of providing the Oaky services to us. We require all external service providers to respect the security of your personal data, treat it in accordance with the law, and process your personal data only in accordance with our instructions.

For an overnight stay at Van der Valk Hotel Hoorn, both persons must be 18 years or older. Are you a minor? Then 1 person must be 18 years or older and we will receive a written consent from the parents/guardians of the minor person including identification of the parents/guardians.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in this hotel. In case of violation of this smoking ban, we are obliged to charge you a fine. The fine amounts to €250, and for a subsequent stay, a deposit of €200 will be charged.

Drugs are not allowed in our hotel. The use of laughing gas is also prohibited. If we detect this, you will be removed from our hotel. We also charge a fine of €250 for this.

Cancellation policy It is possible to cancel free of charge until 14:00 on the day before arrival. After 14:00, it is no longer possible. We also have a cozy children's corner at our Live Cooking restaurant where you can let your children play without worries while you enjoy a delicious dinner. We also have our Timo Toucan menu for the little ones with extra fun drawings and a treasure hunt through the hotel. Finally, we have a lovely outdoor play paradise at our terrace for the warm days to let the children play wonderfully.

Our family rooms are carefully designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where families feel at home right away. As a true family hotel, we strive to meet all your needs, and therefore we offer a wide range of children's activities so that the kids can stay comfortably and safely at Van der Valk Hotel Hoorn.
