The city beach Hoorn stretches over 1 kilometer long and 130 meters wide along the Markermeer. The beach in Hoorn is the largest city beach in the Netherlands. And it is within cycling distance of your hotel room.

While holiday park guests stay outside the city, Van der Valk combines the best of both worlds. Extensive breakfast in the morning, feet in the sand in the afternoon, dining in our restaurant or relaxing in the spa in the evening. No car needed for a complete day.

The beach is accessible and free all year round. Outside the swimming season, it is wonderfully quiet—ideal for a morning walk along the Markermeer.
