Our Live Cooking & buffet restaurant at Van der Valk Hotel Hoorn is always a celebration. You are welcome for breakfast, lunch, or dinner in our restaurant with an open kitchen. Come with friends, family, or colleagues to enjoy a rich buffet freshly prepared by our chefs.
Our breakfast buffet and lunch buffet are open every day, our Live Cooking dinner is open every weekend, and finally, our brunch buffet is open on Sundays.
Plenty of options and plenty of choices for everyone!
Please note: adjusted opening hours apply to the Live Cooking restaurant during the summer period. The Live Cooking dinner on Fridays is closed from July 3 to September 25, 2026. The Live Cooking brunch on Sundays is unavailable from July 4 to September 27, 2026. Additionally, the Live Cooking dinner on Sundays is closed from July 4 to August 16, 2026.
Lunch buffet
Every Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 14:00, you are welcome to enjoy an extensive lunch buffet in our cozy restaurant. Thanks to our buffet concept, there is a wide selection of dishes available, and various hot items are prepared for you.
Live Cooking Dinner
We welcome you every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm for a delicious dinner buffet at our special Live Cooking restaurant. Unique is our Live Cooking concept: our chef prepares a number of dishes fresh for you on the grill, so you can enjoy a culinary experience.
Sunday brunch
Are you still looking for the perfect break with an extensive brunch on the weekend? From 12:00 onwards, we welcome you with a festive glass of bubbles, after which you can enjoy an extensive brunch buffet. Enjoy our delicious Live Cooking buffet with the children or with friends and treat yourself to a wonderful day.
